We undertake over 3000 patient journeys per day, providing a transport service locally and nationally to patients travelling to hospital appointments, care homes or any other places of care.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bank Ambulance Care Assistant in Swansea. We are looking for a responsible and driven individual, seeking a fresh challenge in a rewarding and trusted position. You will be responsible for driving or assisting on a non-emergency patient transport ambulance transporting sick, injured or convalescent persons over a 24/7 rota.

Patient care is at the heart of what we do. So, we are looking for more than just excellent driving skills. You will need to be accessible, competent, efficient, helpful and reliable. You will also adhere to company requirements when recording patient journey times by using the provided XDA/Mobile data device.
It is essential that you hold a full UK manual car driving licence with a minimum of 3 years driving experience with no more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
DISCLOSURE AND BARRING SERVICE CHECK
Due to the range of patients you may encounter, you are required to complete a mandatory DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check. We operate both enhanced Adult and Children checks for this role in line with our compliance.
Should you be successful at application stage you will need to be available to attend a Recruitment Day on Tuesday 26th November 2019. AM and PM sessions are offered. Further information will be communicated to you following successful application. You will also need to be required to attend the training course which takes approximately 10 working days.
