Our Ambulance Care Assistants provide a caring environment for non-emergency patients, supplying  transport services appropriate to the needs of each person.

Patient care is at the heart of what we do so we are looking for more than just excellent driving skills. You’ll need to be caring, responsible & focused, whilst being mindful of the particular needs of each individual.

Whilst you take care of our patients we will take care of you by offering fantastic career development and ongoing first-class training, including  our 10 working days specialised Ambulance Care Course and First Aid at work, all delivered at our Falck Training Academy. In addition to this, we will provide you with full uniform and a competitive salary. Other benefits include, enhanced holiday entitlement when eligible, training opportunities, Ride to Work schemes, auto-enrolment onto our contributory workplace pension and entitlement to our Employee Assistance Programme.

After successful completion of your 6 month probationary period, your pay will be increased.

In order to apply for this role, it is essential that you have held a full UK (manual) car driving licence for 3 years. Please note we cannot consider applications with more than 6 penalty points on their licence. We also seek DVLA licence checks.

Due to the range of patients you may encounter you are required to complete a mandatory DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check. We operate both enhanced Adult and Children checks for this role in line with our compliance.

All employment is subject to receipt of compliant and satisfactory employment references and work history for up to 10years.

If you feel you can fulfil this role and want to make a difference we look forward to hearing from you. Please submit your CV to ptsrecruitment@medicalservicesuk.com
