Following a great year in 2018, Falck is growing from strength to strength and we have recently been awarded a new contract covering the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. This contract will involve working across the following hospitals; Charing Cross (W6), Hammersmith, (W12), St. Marys (W2) or Western Eye (NW1).

The new contract provides an opening for an experienced Ambulance Care Assistant to take the next steps in their career as a Senior Ambulance Care Assistant. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in areas such as leadership, management and coaching of current Ambulance Care Assistants.

We are looking for someone who can lead from the front by being a positive role model for junior members of the team, promoting the Falck values and behaviours in everything they do. You will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, whilst displaying a ‘people focussed’ approach, to make our patients feel comfortable and cared for, from start to finish.

Taking full responsibility for driving/ assisting on non-emergency patient transport services, you will enable sick, injured or recovering patients attend hospital appointments.

To be shortlisted for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following experience:

Minimum 6 months working as an Ambulance Care Assistant
Mentor junior members of staff
Deliver a patient focussed, high quality service
Strong interpersonal skills
Understanding of different mobility groups
Ability to plan and organise workload within timescale
Full UK manual driving licence held for minimum of 3 years (no more than 6 points)

Disclosure and Barring Service Check
Due to the range of patients you may encounter, you are to complete a mandatory enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check. We operate both enhanced adult and children checks for this role in line with our compliance.

If successful, you will need to be available to attend Falck’s training course which takes place over duration of 10 days.
