About the job
The role of the Senior Renal Transport Co-ordinator is to deliver a safe, caring and efficient service to all renal patients being transported by Falck at King’s College Hospital and associated satellite renal sites.
Based as Kings College hospital but expected to commute to the satellite sites for meetings and unit support as required (paid travelled expenses to & from the satellite units).
Desirable skills & experience for ideal candidate: -
· Previous supervisory experience
· Previous experience/knowledge of health care/ patient transport environment
· Experience in customer service/client engagement
· Excellent communication skills
· Confidence in computer systems & data analysis
You will be required to meet people and problem solve with enthusiasm and desire to make things work better. The individual needs to have flexibility to patient availability as units operate 6 days a week and renal service operates an early morning, afternoon and twilight wave.
Having a professional attitude is key as you will be the face of Falck at the renal units. You will need to understand how the renal units work and how to influence nurses and patients to make the journey runs work efficiently.
