About the Role

We seek to appoint an exceptional leader as our Site Operations Manager to join us  at one of our leading London Trusts – Imperial College Hospitals . You will report to and support the Service Delivery Director and be accountable for the delivery of Falck’s core operational duties and therefore ensure operational performance of the site is in line with company policies, procedures and measured against KPI performance.

This is a critical leadership position at Falck’s UK flagship contract in the Ambulance sector.  As the Site Operations Manager of our new depot in North West London, the appointed individual will be responsible for the leadership, management, compliance and maintenance of the depot, the ~250 Ambulances Care Assistants (ACAs) and ~120 Ambulances that deploy on a 24/7 basis. 

Key to success will be the effective and efficient running of the depot ultimately ensuring the successful deployment of all ambulance crews at the right time, in the right vehicles with the right equipment. 

This is a very busy and dynamic role. You will also have a genuine passion for delivering great patient centred care and be driven to promote the Falck brand.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Minimum 2 years’ management experience (ideally within a healthcare environment)
A working knowledge of hospital transport/NHS procedures a distinct advantage
Leadership and ownership of the role ensuring that site based, and Transport team understand and undertake their roles and responsibilities in line with the company’s policies and procedures
Proven record in delivering business solutions
Effectiveness with maintaining systems containing high volumes of data, documents and records.
Ability to multi-task with numerous deadlines or tasks without compromise
Multifaceted in communication skills both written and oral and problem solving with an aptitude to demonstrate initiative and think outside the box
